WSS Services
WSS site team headed by our Installations Director Chris Tarrant are highly experienced in the mechanical and electrical installation of all systems offered by WSS.
WSS are Safe Contractor accredited and our Site Director is also I.O.S.H trained.
WSS generate project specific installation schedules, RAMS and create the site Health & Safety files required for our projects which are all carried out in full compliance with CDM regulations.
Our installation team carry all relevant safety passport cards and receive regular training updates for all aspects of work including but not limited to FLT, High level access equipment, slinging, COSHH, Fire safety Awareness, Manual Handling etc.
In addition to installing our own projects WSS are often asked to assist with the offload and ingress of other equipment supplier’s machinery. We are experienced in heavy machinery movements and carry all the equipment necessary to manipulate machinery safely.
PRODUCTION PLANT UPGRADES
To maintain efficient manufacturing plants, companies must continually upgrade production facilities in order to meet strict manufacturing guidelines and to produce newly developed product lines. This generally involves building modifications, machinery installations, and utility upgrades that are made to accommodate both current and future needs.
WSS can assist you can plan for plant modifications you will also be able to control existing production interruptions and maintain structural integrity of existing facilities including long-term viability of utility lines to meet new production requirements. Your response time to production capacity and product demand fluctuations will also improve with WSS’s ability to quickly implement your production system and material handling modifications.
WSS CAN SERVE YOUR UPGRADE NEEDS
By providing key insight at the project evaluation stage, we assist with the conceptual and practical aspects of the project and can significantly reduce project costs, overruns, changes, delays and overall project frustration with such as things as the following:
- Confirm that the new production lines will fit in the existing space and have adequate service access
- Suggest and plan any building modifications necessary for installation of the production equipment in the existing area
- Review and reduce any impact to nearby production or warehouse areas both during the construction (dust/product contamination) and after installation (access routes, reduction in space)
- Review the documented planned production process and its integration to the overall facility operations for suitability, feasibility, and any best practice modifications or value-added solutions
- Review and manage details of any potential roadblocks to the installation including structural constraints (walls, floors, structural columns), existing electrical and mechanical installations, existing facility utilities (water, sewer, electrical), and equipment access to the installation area for construction and installation of new production equipment
WSS has extensive experience over a wide variety of manufacturing processes including food and beverage processing plants, material handling, storage, and distribution. WSS reviews every project detail and offers alternative methods or installations that will improve overall manufacturing capacity and facility usage.

Site Demolition Services
DOMESTIC AND COMMERCIAL DEMOLITION SERVICES
Worldwide Site Services have extensive experience in domestic and commercial demolition projects.
We design and supply “system solutions” rather than “a palletiser”, “a sorter” or “a conveyor system” – there is a world of difference between the two.
DATA ANALYSIS
A key function for any system is to analyse and understand the data provided by the customer. This can be as simple as moving a case from A to B in a given amount of time or as complex as handling vast numbers of SKU’s to multiple destinations.
3D MODELLING AND SIMULATION
When the situation dictates and data analysis does not provide the complete answer we turn to 3D modelling and simulation using our in house Demo3D software. This allows us to create a working model of the system with real product characteristics and production rates. We are able to create a virtual model of the installation and run in either real time or speed up to monitor operation and identify potential problem areas before the design is finalised and the equipment delivered to site.
DETAIL DESIGN
All detail drawings are created using AutoCAD 2021 by our own in-house engineers.
On Site Training
Worldwide Site Services offer a full range of training programmes, everything from “Hands On” training during commissioning to full Classroom training sessions.
Most of our courses are based on well proven “One Point Lessons” but all courses are tailored to the requirements of site and skill levels of operators and technicians.
WSS provide a full 12 Month Warranty on all new systems to ensure that they are always running efficiently throughout the first 2000 hours of life.
Beyond the warranty period, WSS offer a full range of services including everything from simple spare parts supply to full on-site maintenance.
Typical examples of services available are:
