Palletisation
Palletising
The directors at WSS have been designing palletising solutions for the last 30+ years and are well placed to engineer solutions to fit every client need.
There are two main types of palletising solution – Conventional layer palletising or robotic. In real terms, either method can be used in any application but typically layer solutions are used in high speed rectangular box applications and robots are used in lower speed, limited space applications with more complex product/pattern combinations.
With any palletising project WSS work with the client to provide the best solution. We analyse the data and consider the product, the site, and the logistics before proposing a solution. We are not limited to offering one style of palletising.
Robotic
The key to any robot solution is understanding how to arrange the cell to achieve the most efficient robot movement for maximum throughput whilst ensuring that the product is handled as sympathetically as possible.
Consistent product delivery and efficient design of the robot manipulator are also critical for a successful installation.
WSS work with all major robot suppliers including Kuka, Fanuc, ABB and Yaskawa and are not limited to a single robot provider.
Conventional
Although we typically see layer solutions in the high speed FMCG arena, particularly in brewing and beverage, we have solutions for speeds from 20 to 200+ cases per minute.
We also offer multi-line applications where there are a number of low throughput lines fed to load accumulation conveyors and released to a single palletiser when a full pallet load is available.
WSS work with well-established European and US palletiser manufacturers for the core palletising machine and design/source all peripheral equipment from best of class in the industry.
All palletising solutions are installed by WSS personnel.
